A 3-time sectional champion, 2-time district placer, 1-time regional champion, and Pennsylvania AAA State Tournament qualifier, his success earned him a Division I scholarship to the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where he became a 4-year letterman with a 46–28 collegiate record and two third-place finishes at the Southern Conference Championships. Following his competitive career, he transitioned into coaching — guiding four student-athletes to regional qualification in back-to-back seasons at Olney High School. He now teaches in the Special Education Department at The Woodlands High School, where he also serves as the head wrestling coach.
